About Sour Cherry

When I started Sour Cherry Glassworks I wanted to use it as a hobby to find myself, learn to love the slow process, and tap into my creativity.

I love American traditional tattoo work and want to bring in this vibe and add a sprinkle of my life growing up in Colorado and Southwestern influences.

I make each piece using the traditional copper foil technique (also known as Tiffany stained glass). You can learn more about my technique and other stained glass facts in the FAQ below.

Hi! I’m Ellie.

I’m a stained glass artist from Colorado. Currently, I live in Prague with my family and work out of my small home studio. My aim is to create pieces that vibe with you and blend some of my favorite interests and inspirations. I’ve always been drawn to nature and the old soul of southwest, this must have something to do with growing up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I want to make pieces that are fun and a little different than the stained glass you may have grown up seeing.
